<description>The shortcut for Downloading FLV files for free from safari by opening activity window is not &quot;Open Apple - L&quot;, but is &quot;Option - Open Apple - A&quot; This will open a window and you can see what parts of a website are being downloaded. When on YouTube, look for the file that is MB and that file is the movie file. Double click on that file from the activity window and safari will start downloading that file.

From there you can convert the FLV file into a Quicktime file using a free program called iSquint (http://www.isquint.org/) and set the program to convert file to TV sized file. That is all you need or there is a great $15 app called Videobox (http://www.tastyapps.com/) which was called FLVR which adds a safari button for downloading and converting in one step any flash video viewed online. (If you see in the notes I talked about this program also, but got the name wrong, sorry it was late.)

I hope this helps and I feel better because I hate giving out information that people might use and that information be miss leading or wrong.
