I know it’s been awhile since my last post.  I’m working on some new things that I hope to reveal in the next few weeks.  But in the mean time here are some random things that you might be interested in:

NYMC Day #1

When you are working at an event like this you don’t often get to hear the speakers, experience the worship, or relax with your buddies as you ponder ministry. But that’s not to say it’s not without great opportunities to interact with amazing people involved in youth ministry. Last night we had our Simply Youth Ministry live podcast, and it was so much fun.

We also used Yahoo Live to broadcast it and I think the comments in the chat were my favorite part.It’s live now it iTunes if you want to check it out.

A lot of people asked me about our podcast setup, and I decided to build a page to let everyone know what we use and how I put it together. Check back in the next couple days if you’re interested in the tech side. I’m sure you can teach me a thing or two, I got some great tips last night that I can’t wait to try out.

National Youth Ministry Conference

I just got into Cincinnati for Group and Simply Youth Ministry‘s National Youth Ministry Conference. I will be helping out in the store in the Simply section, I will also be leading a forum for Mac user’s in the YouthMinistry.com media center. The media center will also play host to sessions on blogging, photoshop, Snapshot, and other hands on topics. If you are coming stop by and say “Hi.” I would love to meet you.

We are also doing a live Simply Youth Ministry Podcast on Friday night. I think we may try to broadcast it live too on Yahoo Live. Watch for details if you are interested in tuning in.
